Day One: Transfer from Kigali to Kisoro border town in Uganda
Our representative will receive you, and transfer to Kisoro at the Uganda-Rwanda border; along the way you will enjoy a scenic view of beautiful Rwanda’s rolling hills via Ruhengeri in the northern part of Rwanda and continuing to Cyanika. You will cross into Uganda, where you may take a guided nature walk, visit the natural, beautiful-looking Lake Mutanda, surrounded by the volcanoes; take a walk on the Lake shores. Dinner and overnight stay at Travelers Rest Hotel/Kisoro tourist hotel
Day Two: Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park
Early after your breakfast, transfer to the Bunagana at the DR Congo border, crossover and head to the Park Headquarters to be briefed about the dos and don’ts before setting off for the gorilla tracking adventure. You will stay with the primates for one hour. Return to Kisoro in Uganda. Dinner and overnight stay at your previous hotel
Day Three: Transfer back to Kigali
After having your breakfast, you will head back to Kigali, Rwanda. Along the way, you may take several stops to observe the amazing scenery of Rwanda’s topography, photography and shopping from the local markets.
